Visibility here averages fifteen to twenty-five metres year-round, with water temperatures holding between twenty-four and thirty-two degrees Celsius depending on season. The emirate's dive sites cluster along a thirty-kilometre stretch of coast, most lying within forty minutes of the port town of Dibba.
Snoopy Island, named for its profile when viewed from shore, anchors the central dive corridor. The site's maximum depth reaches twelve metres, making it accessible to newly certified divers while offering enough topography to hold the attention of veterans. Soft corals blanket the eastern wall, and the resident hawksbill turtle population has made the site a fixture on every operator's roster. Three kilometres south, the Al Aqqa wreck rests in twenty-two metres, its structure now colonised by hard corals and hosting schools of barracuda and occasional reef sharks.
The underwater landscape reflects Fujairah's geology — the Hajar Mountains plunge directly into the sea, creating submerged cliffs and boulder fields that contrast sharply with the sand flats common to Dubai's coast. Lionfish, moray eels, and octopuses occupy the crevices, while pelagic species including tuna and kingfish patrol the deeper channels during winter months. Surface intervals typically occur at beachside rest areas with rudimentary facilities; the infrastructure remains functional rather than polished.
